CK MIFA Dedicates 200 hours for Teachers Training at SMKN 2 Meulaboh

The high use of heavy equipment in Aceh has not been accompanied by a number of heavy equipment mechanics provided. The need for maintenance and repair of heavy equipment outside the mining sector is usually done through warranty of dealers, services from Medan, or bringing the specific mechanics to repair suffered severe damage. This is became the background of the initiative CK to partner with SMKN 2 Meulaboh to open the new class  of Heavy Equipment Mechanic in SMKN 2 Meulaboh.

CK through MIFA project site also provides training for faculty members of the Department of Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The training began on July 27, 2015 and officially opened by HT Alaidinsyah, Regent of West Aceh, also attended by the Head of Education Department of West Aceh, representatives of CK, and all the teachers and students SMKN 2 Meulaboh. "The partnership with SMKN 2 Meulaboh to open the new class Heavy Equipment Mechanic is a strategy to provide the needs of manpower in heavy equipment skill, not only for CK but it is also forall industries in West Aceh " explained Irham M. Amin as Human Capital & Admin Dept. Head CK MIFA. This initiative is expected to support the economic growth and minimize the social impact of numbers the unemployment in West Aceh region.

A total of 10 teachers will join the training which lasted for 200 hours and learn about the basic mechanic, basic electric, hydraulic basic, basic powertrain and core skills to adjust to the curriculum SMKN 2 Meulaboh. The material provided directly by CK employees and training begins with the observation in the workshop area of the mine facility CK MIFA. In addition, CK MIFA is also giving away a single excavator unit to be used in teaching and learning activities.

CK MIFA also participates in providing material K3L Basic Introduction to the 424 new students SMKN 2 Meulaboh. The introduction is given to all students of various majors namely Heavy Equipment Engineering, Automotive Engineering Lightweight Vehicle, Building Engineering, Audio and Visual Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering delivered by Khoirur Rozikin, Safety Coordinator CK MIFA and Irham M. Amin, HCA SPTD CK MIFA.
