CKB Group Mobilization of 18 Units Cat® 777E to the African Continent

Jakarta, 13 October 2020. PT Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB Group), a subsidiary of PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABM), has completed work on a logistics project from PT Trakindo Utama to mobilize 18 units of Cat 777E from Indonesia to Africa. The large trucks were sent from the CKB Group Warehouse, Jakarta Mega Hub, located in Cakung, Jakarta to Durban, South Africa with 15 units and to Tema, Ghana, in total 3 units.

The Cat 777E truck is a heavy vehicle, the Off High Way Truck model, which is used to transport loose material and mineral or coal materials. The truck, which was sent from Jakarta in early October, is commonly used in the construction and mining world. The Cat 777E weighs 65 tonnes, with a total load weight of 100-105 tonnes.

Iman Sjafei explained that a careful survey process, analysis of the operation plan, route of travel, timeliness of operation and type of transportation are key factors for successful delivery. The CKB Group has over two decades of extensive experience in handling a variety of logistics projects so that the Cat 777E was delivered on time, safely and smoothly.

Until now, the CKB Group manages warehousing facilities that are strategically located in various regions in Indonesia.
