PT Mifa Bersaudara, subsidiaries of PT Media Djaya Bersama – Reswara Group, is doing lots of efforts to increase the welfare of the society, one of them is Aceh Society Development Program – Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Aceh or PPMA for short. 

One of PPMA’s program is Keramba Tancap training on Parrot Fish Farming, through technical mentoring and providing seeds. This program held from May 19th 2014 until December 2014.

The benefit of this program significantly received by 30 peoples from Pokdakan “Teupin Pala” and “Sabee Mangat” Meurebo with 30 keramba each people, the intention of the program is also to increase the result of fish farming and the fish farmer’s income.

Parrot fish is one of the most valuable freshwater fish commodity with great economic value and wide target market, including Meulaboh. With the program, hopefully it wil fulfill the needs of the parrot fish in the market, integratedly.

The fish seeds that PT Mifa gave is beneficial to all the keramba tancap parrot fish farmer in Gampong Meureubo. Hopefully , the parrot fish maintaining will be succesful and sustain and will increase a welfare to the society in Gampong Meurebo.
